BORD BIA (IRISH FOOD BOARD) IS ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR ONE YEAR PROGRAM (2015/16)

Bord Bia and UCD Smurfit Business School are accepting now applications for its unique , one year Bord Bia Marekting Fellowship program , which will give 25 people a great opportunity for career development.
This program provides a amazing opportunity to become an expert in the Irish food sector, completing assignments for Irish companies in foreign markets, including Poland, while studying internationally reognised marketing masters. Full fees are paid in addition to a bursary of €22,800 to cover living expense for the 12 month program. Food industry experience is not essential but some marketing, business development or client management experience is helpful.
Sebastian Wrobel, from Dublin, completed the Fellowship in 2014 and is now Brand Manager for Cheestings at Kerry Group.

Bord Bia is investing one million euros per year in Fellowship Programme. Analysis of Irish companies producing food and drinks that were involved in the program in recent years has shown, that the activities of participants helped to increase sales by as much as 30 million euros in the last three years. In addition, it should be emphasized the fact that exports of food products from Ireland in 2013 reported a significant increase and has reached 10 billion euros.
Candidates must be graduates of a university , with at least two- three years experience, interested in business development and sales. 25 people will be selected , which proves that have a high potential that can be effectively utilized for the development of the Irish food sector .
Closing date has been extended for Polish speaking applicants – Apply by 28th March.
