This Easter, April 21-22, 2019, straight after the Easter breakfast, the Circle of the Magical White Song from Dublin along with Joanna Dominika Bełzyt from Lublin (Ładola Foundation, TanTheo Foundation) wish to cordially invite you to Polish traditional songs workshop.

During the workshop, we will work on the traditional “white singing” technique and we will learn a few Polish traditional songs connected with Easter celebrations.

In rural Poland, singing was a part of celebrating occasions as well as accompanying farmworks in every day life. There is huge repertoire of Easter songs and we’re going to discover its little part.

The workshop is dedicated to all who want to sing (regardless of the level of experience), who wish to open themselves to the power of their voice and get to know some of Polish culture.

It doesn’t matter if you can sing, it’s important that you give it a go, especially it this is something new, because if you can talk, you also can sing. The only challenge is to break the blockage…

There will be lunch break during the workshop. Coffee and tea will be available. Since these are holiday days, nearby eateries might be closed, so we suggest “potluck lunch” – bring something from your Easter table that you wish to share with the other participants.

Come and sing with us :)

Times:
Sunday 21 April 12.00 – 18.00
Monday 22 April 10.00 -16.00
