A special Celebration on the Centenary of Polish Independence

Josef Pilsudski and the Birth of Modern Poland – Dictator or Liberator

– an illustrated lecture by Patrick Quigley, author of The Polish Irishman, Life and Times of Count Casimir Markievicz etc. Organized by the Irish Polish Society.

The celebration continues with a programme organized by POSK (Polish Social & Cultural Organization) featuring a discussion with Beata Kadzioly – “What does independence mean to you?” It will be followed by a concert of Polish traditional songs from the Krag Magicznej Bialej Piesni band and a performance by the poetic-musical group, ARKAJANA.
