Liberatura is a new literary type, or genre, which integrates text and the material form of the book into a meaningful whole. The term comes from the word literature but draws from the Latin liber (book). Its major theoreticians and creators are Zenon Fajfer and Katarzyna Bazarnik whose activities initiated a whole literary movement. They will present their ideas about this kind of writing and show some liberature books.
\nThere will be bilingual reading by Zenon Fajfer from his volume Ten Letters \u2013 Dwadziedzie\u015bcia jeden liter, followed by Q & A, and discussion. <\/p>\n

Zenon Fajfer and Katarzyna Bazarnik are co-authors of books \u201cOka-leczenie\u201d (2000-2009) and \u201c(O)patrzenie\u201d (2003).<\/p>\n

Our Society \u2018old\u2019 members may remember Zenon and Katarzyna from \u201cZenkasi\u201d drama group who performed for us \u201cFinnegans Make\u201d in June 1997.<\/p>\n

Mo\u017cna j\u0105 czu\u0107, widzie\u0107, dotyka\u0107, rozumie\u0107 na wiele sposob\u00f3w czy odnajdywa\u0107 ukryty w jej tre\u015bci sens. You can feel, see, touch, understand that in many ways to find hidden meaning in its content.<\/p>\n

T\u0119 w\u0142a\u015bnie interakcj\u0119 czytelnika z ksi\u0105\u017ck\u0105 ukazali dzi\u015b w Domu Polskim w Dublinie Katarzyna Bazarnik oraz Zenon Fajfer. This is the reader’s interaction with the book appeared today in the Polish House in Dublin, Catherine, and Zenon Fajfer Bazarnik. Podczas prezentacji odczytywano fragmenty dzie\u0142 sekcji Liberatura w j\u0119zyku polskim oraz angielskim. During the presentation, read excerpts of works section liberature in Polish and English. Zaanga\u017cowano w to r\u00f3wnie\u017c publiczno\u015b\u0107. Also involved in this audience.<\/p>\n

Liberatura to literatura w kt\u00f3rej forma ksi\u0105\u017cki (\u0142ac. \u2013 liber) jest integralnym sk\u0142adnikiem dzie\u0142a. Nie jest to neutralny pojemnik na tekst, kt\u00f3ry mo\u017ce by\u0107 zmieniany z wydania na wydanie \u2013 m\u00f3wi Zenon Fajfer, pisarz, wydawca i redaktor sekcji Liberatura korporacji Ha!art \u2013 Te ksi\u0105\u017cki z woli autora przybieraj\u0105 okre\u015blony kszta\u0142t \u2013 mo\u017ce przypomina\u0107 to tradycyjn\u0105 ksi\u0105\u017ck\u0119, ale r\u00f3wnie dobrze ta ksi\u0105\u017cka mo\u017ce daleko odej\u015b\u0107 od tych wyobra\u017ce\u0144, prze\u0142amywa\u0107 konwencje. Literature liberated, liberated the book – together they form some kind of indissoluble unity. Needed to find an adequate period in which the signal would be included for the reader to understand that these are the items to read.<\/p>\n

Cech\u0105 tych ksi\u0105\u017cek jest to, \u017ce poza s\u0142owem przemawiaj\u0105 poprzez przestrze\u0144, form\u0119, kszta\u0142t, liczb\u0119 stron czy rodzaj papieru \u2013 cho\u0107 nie musi by\u0107 to wcale papier. A feature of these books is that they speak the word out through space, form, shape, number of pages and type of paper – but it need not be at all the paper. Inn\u0105 cech\u0105 jest to, \u017ce wiele z nich zaprasza czytelnika do interakcji, wsp\u00f3\u0142tworzenia, ka\u017ce czytelnikowi odgrywa\u0107 jak\u0105\u015b rol\u0119. Another feature is that many of them invites the reader to interact, contribute, forces the reader to play a role.<\/p>\n

According to Zenon Fajfer, Liberatury concept was the result of a reflection on the book “Eye-care”, written together with Catherine Bazarnik.
