\nWi\u015bniewski, the author of ;”Loneliness in the Net”;. The reading will take place on Friday 22 nd March 2019 at
\n6pm in the Polish House. The event will be in Polish. Janusz Wisniewski\u2019s books will be available for purchase.

Note on the writer:
\nJanusz Leon Wi\u015bniewski (born 18 August 1954 in Toru\u0144 ) is a Polish scientist and writer mostly known for his
\nnovel S@motno\u015b\u0107 w Sieci translated into English as Loneliness on the Net [1] .
\nWi\u015bniewski holds a Master in Physics and Master in Economics, both qualifications obtained from Nicolaus
\nCopernicus University in Toru\u0144 , PhD in Information Technology from Warsaw University of
\nTechnology and Habilitation in Chemistry from the Technical University of \u0141\u00f3d\u017a . He is one of the authors of the
\ncomputer program AutoNom , a naming tool for organic substances in the IUPAC nomenclature . Currently
\nWi\u015bniewski lives and works in Frankfurt , Germany . Apart from his native Polish, he is also fluent in German,
\nEnglish and Russian.
\nHis most famous novel S@motno\u015b\u0107 w Sieci (Loneliness on the Net) was published in 2001 and translated into
\nmany languages. There is a popular Polish film based on the novel.<\/p>\n
