The Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting for the Irish Polish Society will be held on Sunday, 29th January 2023, at 5pm.

It will take place in the Polish House, in person for the first time after four years. The previous AGM was online, on January 23 rd , 2022.

The matters to be dealt with at the meeting covering the IPS activities from January until December 2022 are:

– Chairperson’s Report,

– Treasurer’s Report,

– Cork and Belfast Branch Reports,

– other issues and plans.

A new Committee for 2023 will be elected at the AGM. In accordance with the Rules of the Society any paid-up member can be proposed as a candidate for the Committee. The candidate must have been a member of the Society for not less than six months.

The IPS membership fee for 2023 should be sent (cheques, postal orders) to our Honorary Treasurer, Deirdre Holland at address: 20 Fitzwilliam Place, Dublin 2. You may pay it directly to Deirdre on 29th January, just before the AGM. You can also make a lodgement directly to the IPS Bank Account. It is important, however, that details of the payment are sent to Deirdre for her record by e-mail: deirdremholland@gmail.com

Membership is nominal – it is € 12 per person annually or € 17 per family. Students € 10.
