Labyrinthine (2016) Belgium documentary directed by Ellen Pollard and Marie De Hert (Pollert Production). Duration: 54min. Dutch language with English subtitles.
Labyrinthine tells the story of Sven (Unik-ID), a Belgium landscape artist who, after battling for years with Bipolar Disorder, developed ways to cope with his psychiatric disorder by means of art, creativity and the support of his wife Christelle. In 2016, Sven published his biography “Ingewikkeld” narrating his experience as a husband, father and artist suffering psychotic episodes induced by schyzo-affective disorder.

The screening will be taking place at Polish House, 20 Fitzwilliam Place, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin 2 and will be followed by a post show discussion with a focus on mental health services for both Polish and Romanian communities. The panel will include the following guest speakers:
