Albert (Bartek Kasprzykowski) is a shy, awkward singleton who is really unlucky in love. In a desperate move, he turns to online-dating to find ‘the one’. Surfing the net, he comes across Barbara (Sonia Bohosiewicz), who is equally longing for an intimate relationship. This is the beginning of this laugh-out-loud criminal comedy.
Albert and Barbara both play the same game of online deception – she pretends to be the mysterious Simone, while he acts as a sophisticated French heartthrob. When sparks fly, they finally arrange to go on a date in reality – but the deception game does not end there. Both are insecure about their appearance, which leads them to send in good-looking replacements to take each other’s place at the date. Meanwhile, the real couple spy on each other. As a result, everyone ends up in a hotel, where an outrageous gang of criminals has its eye on a priceless diamond collection. With so many mix-ups, nobody knows who the criminal suspects are, and who the lovers are! And who falls in love with whom? An intellectual, a romantic, a femme fatale, a robber, a swindler and an uptight hotel director are all entangled into a series of romantic and criminal incidents in this hilarious comedy.
