Sunday 10th February, 5pm (Polish House – 20 Fitzwilliam Place, Dublin 2, Ireland).
A short concert (about 30 min.) of Chopin music will be given by pianist Soo-Jung ANN. Some clips/slides related to Chopin will be shown and commented on. We would concentrate on stories, anecdotes, etc– the idea being to take Chopin a little bit ‘down from the pedestal’ and to show him in a more ‘human’ light. What kind of man was he? His complex personality, his love for fashionable salons, women in his life, etc.
Traditional ‘faworki’ (Carnival fritters) will be served.
Admission free for IPS members € 2 non-members. Everybody welcome!
