Anna Hryniewicz is an artist who successfully pursues her career as a painter and as a musician and teacher. Playing the piano since the age of 6 Anna was a laureate of many junior competitions, both as a solo performer and accompanist for chamber music and choirs. After graduating she gave up the piano for several years to have a family, and also to study visual arts, which has always been her second passion. She completed a degree in Painting at the University of CzÄ™stochowa. Her artworks are included in many private and public collections worldwide. During this time she missed the piano a lot and decided to come back to the practice. Subsequently she gained the Diploma in Piano Performance from the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin. She is now actively involved in teaching piano, as well as painting and exhibiting her work internationally. For Anna Music and Fine Art always complement each other. Creating and performing derives from a natural fascination and it is a response to the world around us, whether it be colour, sound or interpretation of old masters’ music. This time from her repertoire we will hear Baroque Music: 10 sonatas by Domenico Scarlatti.
